Jordan's stage directing work is rooted in a belief that the most narratively sweeping stories should feel deeply familiar, and that, simultaneously, every day life can feel downright mythic. He is adept at turning limitations in creative opportunities, often transforming unusual venues into immersive environments. Jordan particularly enjoys working with heightened text, and also has extensive experience collaborating with playwrights on world premieres. He also frequently composes original music for productions, both with other directors and for his own shows.
